The Makita DTD153Z brushless 18v LXT impact driver is equipped with enhanced dust and drip proof performance on the outer casing meaning that this is the ideal impact driver for outside use and use in harsher environments which makes it a lot more reliable than previous models.
Description
The Makita DTD153Z brushless 18v LXT impact driver is equipped with many stand out features such as the 170Nm max torque which allows it to operate at a very high efficiency. Using a 4-Pole brushless motor the impact driver relieves strain on a lot of components compared to the brushed models. This means that the batteries are given a longer run time when in use and the machine is realistically a lot more durable. The keyless quarter inch single sleeve hex chuck accepts standard bolts from M5-M16 and machine screws from M4-M8 making it ideal for repetitive screwing. The impact driver has a no load speed of 3400rpm providing up to 3600ipm, the percussive action saving time and effort, driving screws up to 30% faster than a conventional drill/driver, no pilot hole is needed even into hardwood. The compact 126mm and lightweight of 1.5kg design of the DTD153 makes transportation around the worksite easy, whilst the redesigned belt clip and ergonomic soft grip handle provides maximum user comfort reducing fatigue on prolonged use, meaning greater tool control.
