Genuine Hitachi "Grease Seal A" (part no. 6686658) — a molded grease-sealing lip designed to stop lubricant leakage where the gearbox/drive shaft exits the gear case on Hitachi / HiKOKI / Tanaka petrol hedge trimmers.
This compact seal is made from a durable elastomer designed for contact with gear grease and rotating shafts; and installs as a press-fit in the gearcase to restore the original grease retention.
Fits (examples): Hitachi/HiKOKI/Tanaka hedge trimmer models CH50EA3, CH62EA3 and the THT‑2000 (THT‑2000, THT‑2000SB, THT‑2000SLB). Use this part when you see grease leaking from the gear housing or when replacing worn seals during a gearbox service.
