Home How to find my tool’s model number Elu

Elu

Before ordering any DeWalt or Elu spare parts the tool that is being repaired must be positively identified. The model number, version type and voltage rating will need to be taken from the identification plate. This will be on the power tool, but not always immediately visible. An example of what to look for is shown. Without this information mistakes in ordering will happen. Firstly obtain the model number and directly after it you will see the version number. This will be shown as type 1, type 2, type 3 and so on. These type versions are shown as A, B, C on the website and not as numbers. When ordering switches, carbon brushes, armatures and fields for corded tools you will be given a choice of 110v or 240v parts to order. It is vitally important the voltage has been acquired off the id plate.
