The Makita DUH651Z is a cordless hedge trimmer powered with 2x 18V batteries giving the equivalent power of a 36 volt machine. Sister model of the DUH551, it comes with a longer 650mm blade and a blade cover.
Description
The DUH651Z trimmer blade is double-sided blade and capable of up to 1,800 strokes per minute and can cut up to 18mm diameter branches. It has five alternative handle positions and variable speed control which gives extra control, set the speed to low for trimming young leaves or a higher setting for more dense wood cutting. Because it is battery operated the noise level of this machine is very low. It features a battery capacity warning light tell you when power level is low. The DUH651 features an electric brake which minimises the chances of any mishaps de to the brake cutting the machine motor out.
