The Makita DKP180Z is the ideal cordless planer for day to day work. A precise planning depth setting is set by an adjustment knob with click stops providing an accurate and smooth finish. It has double insulation and can be used with a vacuum cleaner/dust extraction. There is a V groove on the base for easy chamfer cutting. There is also a foot to the base plate which protects the workpiece and blades from damage. The depth adjustment is precise with 0.1mm divisions. The cutter head makes 14,000 cuts per minute for clinically fast stock removal.
