Makita 143299-5 — Hammer Case Complete (genuine Makita). Precision-made hammer housing that holds the impact mechanism (hammer, anvil and spur gear assembly) and mates to the bearing box (143298‑7) and O‑ring (213507‑9). Designed to mount with the tool’s 3 × 16 mm tapping screws and to accept the steel ball bearings used in the hammer assembly (3.5 mm and 5.6 mm), so it drops into place without modification. Ideal if the original housing is cracked, stripped at the screw bosses, or worn where the hammer contacts the case. Fits model: DTD152.

This is the complete external front metal case only. If your impact driver has completely stopped spinning or striking, you may also need to check the internal Anvil or Hammer Assembly components before completing your rebuild.
