Genuine Makita 161810-1 — replacement shoe (base plate) for Makita reciprocating saws. This metal shoe restores the saw’s contact and guide at the cutting point so the blade runs true and the shoe bears on the workpiece as designed. It’s the XRJ04-style shoe used on Makita DJR186, — and it replaces the earlier 161375-3 shoe. The shoe mounts using the factory fastener arrangement (the DJR186 parts breakdown shows the shoe paired with an M6×14 securing bolt), so it drops in without modification.
