The set supplies the two carbon brushes pre-mounted in their holders so they drop into the brush caps for a straightforward replacement and restored motor commutation.
Technical details: the carbon blocks are approximately 5 × 8 × 17 mm (length × width × depth), supplied as a matched pair in holders to maintain correct spring tension and electrical contact. This matches the brush form used on Metabo’s SXE / SRE series sanders.
