Genuine Metabo rubber cap — part no. 344099220 — a small, flexible protective cap for Metabo orbital sanders. Made from resilient rubber, it seals and protects the sander’s ejection/dust outlet and nearby openings from dust, grit and accidental knocks so the tool keeps working as intended.
This cap is made to mate with the SRE 4350 / SRE 4351 TurboTec family and is specified alongside those models in Metabo’s parts documentation; the sanders use a 28 mm ejection/dust port, which this cap is sized to cover. Simple to press-fit into place — no special tools required.
Fits (examples): Metabo SRE 4350 TurboTec (e.g. type/code series 11350000 and regional variants) and Metabo SRE 4351 TurboTec (e.g. 11351000 and related regional codes) — check your tool’s model/code to confirm match. If the rubber cap on your SRE 4350/4351 is torn, hardened or missing, replacing it with this original Metabo part restores the proper seal and helps keep dust extraction and internal components cleaner.
