Genuine Makita base plate (part number 345238-3) — replacement metal sole plate for select Makita jigsaws. It provides a flat, durable support for the shoe/sole of the jigsaw to stabilise cuts and allow cutting slots in thin workpieces; sold as the base plate only.
Compatible with many Makita jigsaw models, for example: 4350CT, plus a range of 43xx/43x series and cordless models such as 4340CT / 4341CT, 4350FCT / 4351FCT, BJV140 / BJV180 and DJV140 / DJV180. (Check your model number against the list on the part fitment if unsure.)
Fitment details: the plate is a direct-fit Makita replacement and mounts with the jigsaw’s existing countersunk screws (the service parts breakdown for the 4350CT shows four M4 × 8 countersunk screws holding the base plate). It installs quickly with standard hand tools and restores a flat, true sole for accurate cutting.
