Genuine Makita 416417-1 — replacement plastic roller for belt sanders. This roller is the tension/guide roller used on the tension roller arm (it sits between the cup washer and the shoulder screw) and is supplied as a single replacement piece ready to install with basic hand tools. The part is molded plastic to match Makita’s original fit and tolerances and is used with the tension roller shaft and tension-roller assembly on several Makita belt-sander models.
Fits (examples): 9404, 9902, 9903, 9910 , 9911 , 9920. These models use 76 × 457 mm abrasive belts and this roller is the correct replacement for the tension-bracket assembly on those machines.
Notes for installation: the roller replaces the existing worn or cracked guide on the tension arm and is installed with the existing shoulder screw, cup washer and retaining ring; a screwdriver and a wrench are typically all that’s needed.
