Original Hitachi retaining ring — part no. 885285 — a compact stamped circlip used to secure the chamber/piston assembly in Hitachi gas-strip and concrete nailers.
Listed fitment includes NR90GC, NR90GC2, NR90GR2, GFN3490 , NR90GR and NC40G according to factory parts diagrams and parts lists.
The ring snaps into the factory groove to prevent axial movement of the firing assembly and is a common replacement when servicing the nailer — a typical small power tool parts item to keep on hand for repairs.
