Original Makita air filter gasket — part no. 965527060. This small elastomer seal fits around the air filter inside the engine cover and restores an airtight seal between the filter and housing, keeping dust and debris out of the carburetor and helping the engine run cleanly.
Made as the original Makita replacement gasket (soft rubber-style seal), it’s supplied as a single gasket and is the same item listed in Makita parts diagrams for several 45 cc brush-cutter/trimmer models. compatible models shown in Makita parts lists include DBC4510, DBC4010 and DBC3310; the MS4510 parts breakdown also lists this part number as the air-filter gasket.
Simple to fit — remove the filter cover, replace the old hardened or cracked gasket with this part, and reassemble. If the original seal is brittle, torn or compressed, replacing it restores proper filter sealing and helps prevent running problems caused by contaminated intake air.
