Designed for the Makita JN1601 nibbler (capacity: mild steel up to 1.6 mm, stainless up to 1.2 mm, aluminium up to 2.5 mm) and used on Makita 16‑gauge nibbler variants; the JN1601’s minimum inside and outside cutting radii are about 45 mm and 50 mm respectively, so the punch is made to meet those tolerances.
Also supplied as the punch for Makita’s 18 V LXT cordless 16‑gauge nibblers (XNJ01/Z and related XNJ01T/LXNJ01 types), so it will fit those Makita nibblers that use the same punch/die system.
