The DHP481 features a strong metal keyless chuck, 2 mechanical gears and has a compact overall length to help achieve a long life span whilst delivering maximum power for prolonged lengths of time. The DHP481 boasts brushless technology meaning it will deliver much more power than a brushed counterpart and will give much longer run time due to less drain on the battery. With 115Nm of tightening torque the DTD154 is one of Makita's most powerful impact drivers, it achieves this feat using brushless technology. The DTD154 has 3 power stages (high, medium and soft) and a T-mode function that is ideal for self drilling screws. Brushless motors aid the DTD154 impact driver in many different ways, the first is the phenomenal power it helps to produce. The second being less power drain from batteries because there are no brushes causing friction on the armature.
